Watch online Part 2
Veer has been getting very bad reviews from everywhere but in-spite of that it has taken a grand opening especially at single screens. Salman khan had urged his fans on Social networking site, to boycott the movie critics
This is what Trade Analyst Taran adarsh had to say about Veer movie Box office report
Salman Khan’s VEER opened exactly like WANTED. The film opened very well at single screens of North India specifically [Uttar Pradesh, C.P., C.I. and Rajasthan single screens were excellent], but the response at multiplexes was a contrast, in 30% to 40% range at several screens.
The two factors that went in favour of WANTED were [i] superb reviews, with most critics loving the film and [ii] the all-round entertainment that WANTED had to offer. In this case [VEER], the reviews have been outright negative and the public response ranges from good to average to terrible. Meaning, the word of mouth is very, very mixed. Also, the entertainment quotient is lower than WANTED.
VEER has to perform exceedingly well in its first two weeks to recover its huge investment. Let’s wait and watch if the business shows a big jump in the coming days and the big-budget film maintains its pace at the ticket window for two complete weeks.

Veer Box office report by Boxoffice India
Veer had a bumper first day at single screens with 80-100% collections while multiplexes had average collections on day one. Multiplexes in metroes like Mumbai and Delhi had first day collections of around 50% while Bangalore was worst with 30%. But multiplexes in places like Jaipur, Kota, Nagpur, Agra and Indore were very good with 70-80% collections. Overall the first day can be called good. The reports are mixed but with a holiday it should put up good first week numbers. The first day collections in places like Bihar, CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan are huge.
